![]() ![]() I usually tweak them a little for the look want. The out of the box symbols have been pretty much the same for years. ![]() I don't suppose there is a one-size fits all type of symbol, but I am curious as to what others do when representing sensors? but then it gets kind of cluttered around the symbol when placing it on rungs. I've also played around with putting as much information as I can on one symbol i.e. Then you have to go to 2 or 3 different pages for 1 sensor, (something I don't like) I've tried making a photo-eye a parent symbol and placing it strictly on a power schematic while placing child contacts associated with it representing NO or NC contacts. So I figured I'd make my own, but that begged the question, is that standard to have to make your own pe switch symbol?Īre they going to update the original symbol ever?Īlso, I was looking for some ideas on how others have created their photo-eye symbols and any tips they may have for ladder style prints. However the symbol is not one I like to use, when terminal pin info is assigned to them it is very hard to read. Hi, I am using a ladder diagrams for my schematic and using the standard "Photo Switch" symbol in the icon menu. ![]()
